Dear MaxoTel Customers and Partners,
Please be advised that senior MaxoTel voice engineers will be conducting an upgrade to our partner SIP trunking platform (202.52.129.50):
Reason for the Change: This upgrade will enhance the service performance and reliability, provides additional resiliency to our voice platform and enables us to deliver new features and technologies.
Firewall Changes: Following this maintenance, the IP addresses that handle call media (RTP) will change. If you run a strict firewall you will need to ensure that it is configured to allow our traffic per https://www.maxo.com.au/support/frequently-asked-questions/configuring-your-firewall-or-acl-whitelist
Configuration Changes: In preparation for this change, please ensure your device’s registration interval is set to our recommended 2 minutes.
Important Note for Mission-Critical Applications: If you utilise our SIP trunking platform for mission-critical applications, we recommend contacting our support team in advance to discuss potential alternatives should they be required.
Device Reconnection Tip: If your device or PBX does not automatically reconnect after the maintenance window, please restart your device to restore connectivity. FreePBX, Asterisk and Yeastar users may need to restart their PBX to ensure their PBX accepts calls as normal.
We appreciate your cooperation as we work to enhance our services. Please do not hesitate to contact our support team should you have any queries.
Kind regards,
MaxoTel
